Obituary

Michele Foley, 73, of East Moline, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.  Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Michele was born on February 17, 1947 in Davenport, a child of Dr. W.E. “Ned” and Joyce (Van Cura) Foley.  She graduated top of her class from the University of Notre Dame.

Michele had worked for many years for John Deere, stationed out of headquarters, but traveled the country helping to design systems at John Deere facilities.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Rheta Foley, Davenport, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Shawn Hingstrum, Peter Foley and Patrick Foley.  May they rest in peace.
