Donna Pfannenstiel

Funeral Services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Donna J. Pfannenstiel, 89, a resident of Davenport, will be 2pm, Friday, July 9, 2021, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Davenport.  Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery, Davenport.  The family will greet friends Friday at church from 1pm until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House or Genesis Visiting Nurse Association.  Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Donna passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Country Manor in Davenport.

Donna June Moyers was born December 1, 1931 in Burlington, Iowa, a daughter of Tally and Nelva (Archer) Moyers.  She married Joseph Pfannenstiel November 14, 1951 in Brunswick, Georgia.  Joseph preceded her in death March 24, 2002.  They celebrated 51 years of marriage.

Donna was a CNA for the Visiting Nurses Association of Scott County.  She loved spending time with her dogs and enjoyed volunteering for Hospice, the Kahl Home and Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.  She enjoyed bowling and camping and spending time with her family.

Those left to honor her memory include her children:  Stephen (Laurie) Pfannenstiel, Davenport; Mark Pfannenstiel, Wellington, Florida and daughter-in-law, Vicki Pfannenstiel, Newport Richie, Florida; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph, son Michael and siblings:  Lynn, Bill, Jimmy, Gene, Mary, Kathleen and Marjorie.
