Cathy Essary

Cathy A. Essary, 70, of Davenport, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 at Good Samaritan, Davenport.

Per her wish the rite of cremation has been accorded and memorial services will be held at a later date.

Cathy Ann Essary was born June 15, 1949, in Moline, Illinois, a daughter of Charles Mosher and Charlotte Youngquist - Van de Walle.  She was united in marriage to David Essary.

She had owned and operated Essary and Associates, a call center.

She was an excellent cook.  She enjoyed time with family and friends. Cathy was a woman who loved her pets. In her spare time she enjoyed growing and giving people plants. Her knowledge of many subjects was always a blessing. Her grandson David says she taught him a lot. That goes for all of us. She was greatly loved and will be missed by many.

Survivors include her daughters Kimberly Schroeder and Michelle Essary; grandsons Michael Essary and David Craft; great grandchildren Ethan, Caleb, Chloe and Presley; and sister Betty Hill.
