Yovanni Cruz Lira-Ponciano

Yovanni Cruz Lira-Ponciano was quietly born on August 14, 2026, at MercyOne Genesis, Davenport. The son of Isaiah Ponciano and Elisa Lira-Ponciano of Davenport, Yovanni, was deeply loved and will be forever cherished. Visitation will be 1-2pm on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, with funeral services at 2pm. Cremation will follow.

Yovanni is survived by his parents; sisters Yamila and Yalanni; maternal grandmother Vanessa (Juan Valdovinos) Salinas; paternal grandmother Tiana Ponciano; paternal grandfather Cruz Ponciano; maternal great grandparents Irma Constantino and Pablo Lira Jr; aunts Marisa Lira, Maria Lira, Abigayle Mildren, and Gabrielle Mildren; and uncles Mario Lira Jr and Matthew Ponciano.

He was preceded in death by brother Gyanni, maternal grandfather Mario Lira Sr, maternal great great grandmother Adella Martinez, maternal great great grandfather Pablo Lira Sr, paternal great grandfather Martin Willette, and great uncle Darian Willette.
