William Patrick “Bill” Rehmann, 80, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on September 23rd, 2024 at the Kahl Home for the Aged and Infirmed, Davenport, surrounded by his family after a courageously fought battle with cancer.
Bill was born on June 21, 1944 to Leonard and Mary (Hogan) Rehmann in Davenport, Iowa. He graduated from Assumption High School in 1962, where he made friendships that he maintained all the way up to the final days of his life.
In 1963, Bill married Mary Osmun at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Bettendorf, Iowa. They were married for 61 years. The Rehmanns moved to Kansas City, Missouri where daughter Lisa was born. They returned to the Quad Cities after a year and have lived in the area ever since.
Bill retired from a 52-year career with Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance, where he took pride in his ability to assist hundreds of clients in navigating their financial futures. Retirement allowed Bill to spend more time enjoying his favorite hobbies such as running, fishing, golfing and wildlife photography.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Mary, daughter, Lisa (Robert Loll) grandsons: Ryan (Amber Reed), Mitchell (Peyton Reed), and Christopher. Other family members include his sister, Suzanne, (Thomas “Doc” Nestor), and several nieces and nephews.
