William Clark Geist, age 64, of Coal Valley, passed away on February 23, 2024 at Unity Point Trinty-Rock Island. Bill was laid to rest at Rock Island National Cemetery. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with his arrangements.
Bill was born on May 7, 1959, in Davenport to Clark and Patricia (Schebler) Geist. He worked as a mechanic and over the road driver until disability forced him to retire.
Survivors include his daughter, Jaime Geist; siblings, Theresa (Clark) Metzger, Brenda Hogan, Kelli Christenson, Samuel Geist, and Maxwell Geist; many nieces and nephews.
