Wesley Henry Kuehl Jr., passed away at his home on December 26, 2025, at the age of 66. A graveside service will be held to honor Wesley at the Rock Island National Cemetery on Friday, January 9, 2025. Family and friends are invited to gather for procession to the cemetery at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport at 1:00 pm.

Born on December 10, 1959 in Iowa to Wesley and Judy (Moffit) Kuehl Sr., Wesley was known for his warm personality and ability to bring joy and laughter to those around him. Wesley's career began with his dedicated service at the Rock Island Arsenal. Following his time in the military, he embarked on a career as a concrete finisher. Wesley found immense satisfaction in working hard and keeping busy, embodying a strong work ethic that inspired many around him.

Beyond his professional life, Wesley loved playing the Blues on his harmonica, and he held a love for woodworking and motorcycle riding. He had a unique charm and a friendly demeanor, earning the affection of everyone he met.

Wesley is survived by his significant other, Candace Carter, whose companionship enriched his life. He is also survived by his son, Wesley Kuehl III, and his step-children, Sean (Rosa) Carter, Nicole (Kurt) Bell, and their loving families. He cherished his grandchildren, Nature, Raven, Serenity, and Annabella. Additionally, he is remembered by his step-mother, Joyce Kuehl, and his sister, Anna Broders, who will carry forward cherished memories of their beloved Wesley.

Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Sr. and Wilma Kuehl.
