Vicki Lynne Geeding

Vicki Lynne Geeding, 80, of Blue Grass, passed away, Monday, February 27, 2023 at her home.

Per her wishes there will be no services. Memorials may be made to her family.

Vicki was born on September 17, 1942 in Independence, Missouri, daughter of Kenneth and Beth (Owen) VanTuyl.  She was united in marriage to Christopher “Sid” Geeding in 1984.

Vicki graduated from William Chrisman High School, Missouri and later attended college at Graceland College, Lamoni, Iowa.  She was employed by Cargill before becoming co-owner of Clarks Landing until it sold in 1998.  She later became co-owner of S&V Trucking Enterprises for many years.  She collected dolls and was an avid seamstress.  She also found joy in gardening, hummingbirds and volunteered at the Buffalo Give Away.  Above all she was an amazing wife, mom and grandma.

She is survived by her husband; children Lisa (Mike) Johannsen and Glen (Nicole) Neill; stepchildren Curtis (Kelly) Geeding and Chris (Charlene) Geeding; grandchildren Whitney, Sarah, Rachel, Caleb, Josh, Lance, Alaine, Casey and Cameron; step-grandsons, Corey, Clint and Clark; many great-grandchildren; and siblings Veta Denton and Ken VanTuyl.

She was preceded by her parents, brother Jack Frazier, step-son James Geeding and grandson Tade.
