Veronica Mae Sindt

Veronica Mae Sindt, 52, of Davenport, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 3, 2023.

Memorial services will be held at Halligan-McCabe- DeVries Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the memorial service. Day of service will be announced. Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded. 

Veronica was born on June 10, 1971, in Iowa City, Iowa, a daughter of Albert D. and Linda (Coffman) Sindt.

Veronica loved being outdoors.  She enjoyed landscaping, fishing, boating, gardening, butterflies and birds.  She also enjoyed arts and crafts, refinishing furniture and country music. Above all else she adored her grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them. 

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Ashlee (Mike) Schabilion, Kain (Nicole) Hardin, Jesse (Katie) Cole, Alex (Julia) Smith, and Paige (Brandon) Ford; 12 grandchildren; parents Albert and Linda Sindt; siblings Robert McClure, Jeanne Sindt and Albert “Jake” Plaz Sindt; significant other Jeff Yoke; many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and four legged friend Lillie.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and Gladys Sindt and Mae and Plaz Coffman, and grandson Dalton Lee Ford-Whitehouse.
