Twana “TC” Fisher, 83, of Davenport, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Halligan McCabe DeVries funeral home. Family will greet friends from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
TC was born on December 16, 1942, in Brilliant, Alabama, daughter of Kenneth and Mary (Franklin) Ellis. She moved to the Quad Cities in 1958 where she was a devoted mother to her two children while working for National/Randall Foods as a bakery manager.
TC loved to cook and was an exceptional self- taught cake decorator. She specialized in wedding and birthday cakes that were always requested for family events. As a breast cancer survivor, she inspired many to find the strength to endure life’s challenges, as she did. She carried a Southern wit that could soften any moment and a hint of spice that reminded you she had a fire all her own. Her laughter and spirited presence will be deeply missed.
The biggest loves in her life were her five granddaughters, who called her Nanny. They were her world. She loved them unconditionally and shared her love of southern cooking and baking, her love of Jesus and family, and taught them to embrace every day as it came. Together they loved camping, fishing and slumber parties at her house. Then came the great grandchildren, who filled her life with even more joy.
The family would like to thank Meadowview of Davenport and St. Croix Hospice for providing exceptional care and compassion.
Those left to honor her memory, include her son, David (Cindy) Cain, daughter, Kathy (Craig) Levetzow, granddaughters: Jennifer (Brian) Ashby, Amy (Chad) Schulz, Amber (Kyle) Grunder, Megan Levetzow, and Rachel (Ray) Lackey. 10 great-grandchildren with an 11th on the way, sister, Mary Stackhouse, and niece Jennifer (Shawn) Agan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, brother, and brother-in-law.
