Tracey D. Bankhead

Tracey D. Bankhead, 57, of Davenport, died Friday, March 17, 2023 at Genesis East, Davenport.  Private family services were held.  Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Tracy was born on October 31, 1965 in Corydon, Iowa, a daughter of Dixie Kay (Barrell) Swift.  She worked her entire life including at McDonalds in Davenport.  She enjoyed watching murder mystery shows especially Law and Order, cooking, collecting angels, and being outside when possible.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Douglas Houston, Nevada, Katherine Houston, and Stephen Goodman, both of Davenport; siblings: Tammie Robertson, Davenport, Teresa Cobb Chapman (Scott), East Moline, Tina Scalf, California, and Nicholas Todd Brown, East Moline; aunts and uncles: Maxine Mattly, Seymour, Iowa, Bill Burrell, Mt. Joy, Iowa, Nancy Gerdes (John), Promise City, Iowa, Sherry Barrell, Davenport, Nicholas Barrell, Seymour, Iowa, and Danny Barrell, Arkansas, a dear friends, Rev. Royann Mathews and Carl Fisher and many grandchildren, niece and nephews.
