Thomas L. "Tom" Felton

Thomas “Tom” Felton, 64, of Davenport, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Good Samaritan, Davenport. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Thomas LeRoy Felton was born February 11, 1962, in Iowa City, to Glenn and Janice Felton. He was united in marriage to Pamela “Pam” Anderson on July 30, 2004.

Until his health forced him to retire, Tom owned and operated Tommy’s Gutters for the past two years and worked for L & L Gutters for over 25 years with his uncle Lyle Felton. He also worked for Iowa and Illinois Pest Control.

Tom loved working with his hands, but his greatest work was often done for other people. He had a generous heart and was always willing to lend a hand, especially to those who were struggling or in need. Helping the needy was important to him, and he gave freely, not because he expected anything in return, but simply because that’s who he was. He was generous to a fault, and if someone needed something, chances were good he would find a way to help.

Those who knew him will also remember his sense of humor. He was a natural jokester who loved to make people laugh and could find a way to bring a little fun into almost any situation. His humor, caring nature, and willingness to help will always be remembered.

Survivors include his wife, Pam; daughters Ashley, Destiny, Misty, Jessica, and Annette; son John; ten grandchildren; brothers Ray (Debra) Felton of Des Moines and Tracey (Stephanie) Felton of La Moille, IL; sister Darla (Greg) Powell of Des Moines; and many nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his daughter Angela, father Glenn Felton, mother Janice Kent, sisters Teri Arreola and Kelli Samson, and brother Ronnie Joe Hall.
