Terri L. Hardy

Terri Lynn Hardy passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family at MercyOne-Genesis Medical Center, Davenport.

Funeral services to celebrate Terri’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2026 at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. The service will be livestreamed with the link appearing on this website 15 minutes before the service. Burial will follow at Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport. Visitation will be held prior to the services from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Please wear bright and fun attire to honor Terri’s colorful personality. Memorials may be made to the family to establish a memorial fund for her daughters.

Terri Lynn Littlefield was born on December 13, 1973, in Davenport, a daughter of Thomas Joseph and Joyce Ann (Bultema) Littlefield. She graduated from Davenport West High School in 1992 and attend Western Illinois for three years before transferring and gradating from the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga with a degree in Business and Finance. When she was just seventeen, Terri was introduced to a young man named Damien Matthew Hardy. After dating for a few years, Terri was united in marriage to Damien on May 26, 2001, at Christ Family Church in Bettendorf.

Terri has worked for the past fifteen years with Group O where she was the According Manager. Prior to that she worked for Great Southern Bank.

Terri had a light about her that was impossible to miss. With her radiant smile, sparkle in her eye, and magnetic personality, she had a way of making everyone around her feel welcome and loved. She was upbeat, positive, and full of life, and she always wanted her life to be celebrated rather than mourned. Terri was a friend to all and often the life of the party—or the one making sure the party kept going. She loved a good gossip session with her girls, cherished time with family and friends, especially her “Bunco Girls” and never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Her heart was simply full of love, and she opened her home and her heart to her children’s friends, including Dylan Balthazer and Mia Molina, who became especially close to her. And, in true Terri fashion, she found great joy in a good spreadsheet—because if it could be organized, color-coded, or kept track of, Terri was probably going to do it.

Those left to honor Terri’s memory are her husband, Damien, daughters, Isobel Hardy, both of Davenport and Gabrielle “Gabs” (fiancé, Raleigh Wilson), Oswego, Illinois; mother, Joyce Littlefield, Chattanooga, Tennessee; brother, Mark Littlefield, Fort O., Georgia; niece, Callie Littlefield; mother-in-law, Juliann Hardy, Davenport; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Greg (Tammy) Hardy, Georgia, Mark (Michelle) Stelken, Dubuque, Phillip (Linda) Hardy, Alabama, Monica Hayes, Bettendorf, Bridget (John) Stoecker, Texas, Aaron (Vanessa) Hardy, Davenport, Anita (Blake) Hamann, Colorado, Andrew (Stephanie) Hardy, Topeka, Kansas, as well as many nieces and nephews who knew her as the favorite and most fun aunt.

Terri was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Littlefield, her father-in-law, Hiram Hardy, a brother-in-law, Christopher Hardy, her maternal grandparents who she was very close to, Harold and Laverne Bultema.

Terri’s family would like to thank MercyOne Genesis Medical Team and the employees of the coffee shop for all the wonderful care they provided. During Terri’s last weekend on Earth, she had a heck of a party in her room with all the loved ones and friends sharing memories with her and her favorite foods. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
