Taurus Puckett, 52, of Davenport, passed away, Saturday, September 12, 2026 at MercyOne Medical Center, Davenport.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, September 18, 2026 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 12:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Please wear casual attire or Minnesota Vikings gear! Memorials may be made to the family or to Kings Harvest Animal Shelter.

Taurus was born on May 9, 1974 in Colorado.

Taurus loved life and was always willing to help others. He had a heart of gold. He could fix anything and was a jack of all trades. He taught himself to play the guitar and continued to enjoy jam sessions. Taurus had a talent for landscaping and could keep the outdoors beautiful. He was the little brother to his siblings friends and was loved by all. He loved his family and friends and cherished the time spent with them. His laugh and his smile will be deeply missed.

Those left to honor his memory include his siblings Scott (Caroline) Puckett and Dawn (Scott) Clark; uncle Steve Brammann; nieces and nephew Rachel Joens, Hanna Pitts, Logan Pitts, and Lexi Pitts as well as numerous other nieces and nephews; and special friend Peggy Schwager.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Ashby; step father Russ Ashby; and nephew Cory Joens.
