Steven Zaehringer

Steven L. Zaehringer, 73, a resident of Davenport, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at his home.  Per his wishes, the rite of cremation was accorded and there will be no services.  Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home assisted the family.

Steven Laverne Zaehringer was born March 17, 1947 in Iowa, a son of Lyle and Maxine (Sprott) Zaehringer.  He worked in the construction industry.  Steven enjoyed working on bicycles and fishing.

Those left to honor Steven’s memory include his daughter, Angie Zaehringer, Muscatine; son, Lyle Zaehringer; 2 granddaughters; 5 great-grandchildren and friends, Matt and Suzy Sawvell.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
