Stacy Marie Faust

Stacy Marie Faust, age 49, of Davenport, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 11, 2022 surrounded by her family at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, September 23, 2022 at the funeral home.

   Stacy was born on September 26, 1972 in Davenport to George and Margeret (Serrano) Gladfelter and Stephen Faust. Stacy worked for many years as a custodian for the Davenport School District until finding her true calling in the healthcare field working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She enjoyed taking care of anyone she could working first at REM Iowa as a direct support professional and then at Hills & Dales. Stacy was a strong, independent, blunt, and outspoken loving woman who will be truly missed by many.

Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, George and Margeret; children, Tykeshia Faust Powell, Naomi Jackson, and Tayler Mooney; grandchildren, Marcus, Makhila, Makhi, Raymond, Masion, Kre,laylani, and Deontye; sister, Erica Abbey; brothers, Stephan Faust, and Richard Serrano; close nieces and nephews, Clarissa Rodriguez, Dammien Faust, Shawn Abbey, Elizabeth Lucas, and Richard Serrano Jr; and bonus son, Jonathan Abbey; and her favorite daughter, Redbone her fur baby. Also surviving are many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, especially Tiffanie Jones, and Felicia “Faye” Smith.

She was preceded in death by her Grandma and Grandpa Guadalupe “Lupe”, and Julio Serrano, Juanita Faust, her father, Stephen Faust, and her Aunt Jenetta Mendez.
