Sherrie Ann Manley

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Sherrie A. Manley, 63, of Davenport, will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at New Hope Presbyterian Church, 4209 W. Locust St, Davenport, 52804  Burial will be at a later date in Walcott Cemetery.

Ms. Manley passed away Thursday with her family by her side, January 12, 2023 at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, IL. 

Sherrie Ann Fowler was born August 2, 1959 in Waterloo, IA, the daughter of James Arthur and Eunice Jean (Busch) Fowler. 

She worked as a banquet server for many years before becoming a homemaker.

Ms. Manley enjoyed going to bingo. She was on several different pool leagues over the years often being in the top 5. During football season she would watch the Green Bay Packers at her sister Denise’s. Ms. Manley enjoyed being outside tending to her plants, taking walks, or simply sitting on her patio drinking coffee. In the summer she would spend days at a time at her niece Shyanne (Kevin) Foreman`s sharing family time. Ms. Manley would often cook a big meal at her home and had her kid’s and grandchildren over, spending time with her kid’s and grandchildren was the most important and cherished times. Ms. Manley enjoyed cookouts and playing cards with family and friends. Ms. Manley enjoyed going mushroom hunting with her niece and son Joe.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughters Shamera Page; Christina Manley and son Joseph Manley; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sisters Kim Busch, and Denise Jensen. Several niece’s and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, and grandparents
