Shelley Lucas

Shelley Lucas, 57, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Davenport, died Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Medical City Hospital in Arlington, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial for Shelley will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Davenport. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2021 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home with additional visitation held from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the Mass at church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Mass will be livestreamed by visiting www.facebook.com/stpauldisciples. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Rachelle Elizabeth Potter was born October 30, 1963 in Davenport to Ronald C. and Roberta M. (Baker) Potter.  She graduated from West High School in 1982. Shelley married Matt Lucas, November 29, 1985, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Davenport

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of over 35 years, Matt; mother Roberta; sister Becky (James) Jones and their children Samantha (Oscar) Baladez and Caroline; Samantha’s children Madeline and Lucas; and the entire Lucas clan.

She was preceded in death by her father.
