Sarah Nelson

Sarah Leeanne Nelson, age 39, of Davenport, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October, 30, 2023 at her home. A visitation will be held on December 9, 2023 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at St Paul Lutheran Church in Davenport. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport assisted the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to the family for her children’s education.

Sarah was born on May 4, 1984, in Orange, CA to Lawrence Freeman and Julie King. She had worked as a CNA for various nursing homes in the Quad Cities. She enjoyed reading, watching scary movies, having random dance parties, and most of all cheering on her children.

She is survived by her children, Braydon Freeman, Charlotte Freeman, and Lucy Nelson; father, Lawrence (Jackie) Freeman; mother, Julie King ; sister, Jennifer (Kevin) Prior and their children, Leia and Ripley; half-brother, Sam Freeman; step-siblings, Jennifer Bustamante (and family), David Bustamante (and family), Steven Salas, and Christian Reinbold; Papa Bill and Grandma Leeanne Mullins; Aunts and Uncles, Janet (Charles) Saleh and children , Amy Rodriquez and children, Sharon (Dave) Buonocore and children, and David Mullins and family.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Lawrence Freeman and grandmother Betty Freeman.
