Sandra Kay Townsley, 67, graciously known as Sandy to most was born to Marlin Vetter and James Schrock on August 4, 1956, in Des Moines, IA. Sandy passed on July 13, 2024 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 11am on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Visitation will be from 10am until time of services at the funeral home. The rite of cremation will follow services.
Sandy, Mother to 5 was a woman a faith who strongly believed in the Lord. Sandy knew whatever the Lord had for her she would receive. Sandy loved going to Bingo and the Casino with her family.
Sandy was a CNA for many years. Sandy loved to take care of her family and others. Sandy had so much love for everyone and so many people had love for her. Sandy then became a daycare provider so she could spend more time with her grandkids. Sandy was a family person and loved spending time with her family and friends. When going to outings she made sure to get a picture with everyone.
Sandy leaves to cherish her memory her Siblings Richard Townsley and Roger Johnson.
Most Importantly her children, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren. James Townsley his children: Kyra (Kenta Jr, Kae’lani, Kayden), Serenity (Kayssen), Kazmiere. Tanisha Townsley her children: Rodney Jr, Nevaeh (Na’kiyus), Deondra Jr. Shalonda March and her children: Ka’Mariona, Marquaija, Marquies Jr., Ramon and his children Ramon Jr, Raymond III. Children of the late Raymond March Jr., Khalil and Asia. Her bonus children Jermaine Harris, Shucole Oliver and Aticia Coney (Kyle). Her sister-in-law JoAnne Townsley, and lifelong best friend Raymond March Sr. Special niece Heidi Eggert (Matt). Host of Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, son Raymond Jr, sister Vickie Townsley, Brothers Dennis Townsley, Michael Townsley, Ray Tapper.
