Sandra Lee Crain

Sandra Lee Crain, 85, of Bettendorf, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Vistas of Bettendorf. Per her wish the rite of cremation will be accorded, and no services will be held. The family was assisted by Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral, Davenport.

Sandra was born June 10, 1939, in Ann Arbor, MI, a daughter of Paulene W. “Paul” and Martha L. (Snow) Scott. She was united in marriage to Jon Crain on October 27, 1959, in Paw Paw, MI. He preceded in her in death on August 14, 1991.

In 1998 she moved to Bettendorf and began working as an auditor for Von Maur until she retired four years later.

She was a talented crafter and enjoyed making cards for family and friends, building LEGO City sets, and loved to read.

Those left to honor her memory include her children Jon Crain and Jeff Crain of Kalamazoo, MI Jennifer Edwards of Bettendorf; grandchildren, Erin Hetrick of Indianapolis, Adam Crain, Benjamin Crain, Nathan Crain all of Kalamazoo, Shannon Rivera of Nevada, Olivia Edwards of North Liberty, IA, Christopher Edwards of Bettendorf; and her twin brother Wilder Scott of Dowagiac, MI.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by sisters Nancy Mitchell and Marlene Adams, and brother Clyde Scott.
