Russell Armstrong

Russell J. Armstrong, 57, of Davenport, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Handicapped Development Residential Center, Davenport.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Davenport Memorial Park in the Mausoleum. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, downtown Davenport assisted his family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Handicapped Development Center.

Russell Joe Armstrong was born November 13, 1961 in Davenport a son of Ronald J. and Marion (Wulf) Armstrong, Sr.

Russell was lovingly cared for in the group home at HDC since 1986.

Russell is survived by his four brothers; Ric Armstrong, Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Randy Armstrong, Davenport, Ronald Armstrong, Jr., Bronston, Kentucky and Rory Armstrong, Davenport; his aunt, Martha (Denny) LaMaack, Poulsbo, Washington; and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Casey Armstrong.
