Rosemarie Kadera, 68, of Davenport, passed away, Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at MercyOne Medical Center, Davenport.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 3:00 pm, at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 1:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family, American Cancer Society or to American Heart Association.

Rosemarie was born on February 23, 1958 in Davenport, daughter of Edward and Rosemarie (Fahrner) Jenkins. She was united in marriage to Michael Kadera on November 4, 1988. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2013.

Rosemarie enjoyed bowling, camping and traveling to visit with family. She was an avid NASCAR race fan. She enjoyed keeping up with friends and family on Facebook and appreciated all the photos and messages she received. She especially enjoyed playing on-line Facebook games on her computer. She was fond of her travels to place flowers and flags on family graves for Memorial Day. Rosemarie was also a breast cancer survivor and survived major heart surgery along with one knee replacement and two hip replacements. Above all she loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them. She will be greatly missed.

Those left to honor her memory include her children Christopher Kadera, Charles (Brenda) Jenkins and Kathaleen (Tommy) Allen; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and sister Patricia (Samuel) Border.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings Barbara Kadera, Edward “JR” Jenkins, Viola Pattersen and Edna Wales and granddaughter Emma Allen.
