Ronald Parris

Ronald Parris, 72, of Davenport, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025 at MercyOne Medical Center, Davenport.

A Celebration of Life will be held with a date to be announced. Memorials may be made to the family.

Ronald was born on March 18, 1953, in Iowa, son of William and Mary Parris.

Ronald was a simple man and kept to himself. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and the Wapsi. He had musical talent and could play the banjo and sing. Ronald also enjoyed Blue Grass and Country music. He was also a hard worker and liked to keep busy. Above all he loved his family, especially his son Donny.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife Patricia; children Donny Parris, Tricia Ryan, Angela Ryan, Ronnie Parris and Rhonda Richardson; honorary son Eric Christy; sister Kathy Rudminat; and cousins Mike and Terry Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents and great grandchild Annika Davis .
