Robert "Bob" Williams

Robert "Bob" Williams, 67, of Davenport, passed away, Saturday, April 25, 2026 at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, May 4, 2026 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family and will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Bob was born on December 30, 1958 in Davenport, Iowa the son of Claude and Bernice Williams. He was united in marriage to Rebecca Hayes on October 3, 1978. She preceded him in death on August 16, 1999.

Bob graduated from the Central High School class of 1977 and retired from Alcoa in 2021. He found joy in the many hobbies that kept him busy, especially basketball. He enjoyed fixing things and would help people whenever he could. He loved spending time with his friends and family. Bob was blessed to have been able to spend the last year traveling with his family and making memories. He will be deeply missed.

Those left to honor his memory include his children; Robert J. Williams, Davenport, Lori (Matt) Keller, Earlham, IA, and Jake (Lisa) Williams, Olathe, KS; significant other Kim Hatfield; grandchildren Ethan (EJ) Williams, Kylie Keller, Riley Williams and Meadow Williams; siblings Rita (Ron) Washam, Richard (Sue) Williams and Joe Williams; close nephews John (Alex) Washam, Richard (Raquel) Washam and Tom (Keely) Washam; father-in-law Leonard Hayes; special loved ones Olivia and Jack DeWulf; and many beloved cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, mother-in-law Ramona Hayes and brother-in-law Daniel Hayes.
