Robbin Foster

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Robbin L. (Jackson) Foster, 50, a resident of Davenport, will be 6 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, 614 N. Main Street, downtown Davenport. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place following services. Robbin passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.

Robbin Lynn Jackson was born on January 22, 1968 in Davenport, a daughter of Candy Jean (Gladfelter) and Charles D. Jackson. She was help raised by her step-father, Larry Osborn. She received a degree in business from Scott Community College. Robbin was united in marriage to Kevin Abbott and later married Richard Foster, Sr. on September 11, 2000.

Robbin was a determined and strong willed woman, showing that throughout her illness. She enjoyed playing bingo, especially with her mother, Candy and sister-in-law, Kavona. She adored her family, especially her grandbabies. They brought great joy into her life, and she would light up when they were around. She also enjoyed computer games and watching Days of Our Lives.

Robbin is survived by her children: Brandon (Amie) Abbott, Ricky (Heather White) Foster, Jr, all of Davenport, and Alyssa Foster, Bettendorf; grandchildren: Destiny, Addyson, Brooklynn, Malekai, Korbyn, Thealynn; father, Charles (Barb) Jackson, Sr., Kewanee, Ill., brother, Chuck Jackson, Jr., step-sister, Heather Brown, sister-in-law, Kavona McDaniel, nephews and nieces, Nicole, Timothy, Tazz, Chuckie, and Candace, and a host of other extended family.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Abbott, her mother and step-father, Candy and Larry Osborn, and her faithful canine buddy, Princess.
