Randy Groves

Randy V. Groves, 59, of Davenport, died Friday, October 18, 2019 at his home.  Graveside services will be 1:30p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.  Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Keeping with Randy’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

Randy was born on January 21, 1960 in Davenport, a son of Oron and Shirley (Woods) Groves. He had been married to Debbie Beaver.  He had been self-employed in the construction trade.

Randy enjoyed auctions, antiquing and fishing.

Among survivors are his sisters: Chris (Jim) Hendricksen, Pamela Haussmann, Brenda Petersen, and Shelly (Kenny Earnest) Carr, all of Davenport; his former wife, Debbie and a step-son, Danny Beaver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers-in-law, Barry Petersen and Tim Carr.
