Patricia Wilson

Patricia Wilson, 89, of Davenport, passed away, Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at the Davenport Lutheran Home's Hospice Care Unit.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, January 23, 2026 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home. Family will greet friends from 9:30 am until the time of service at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at Fairmount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Davenport Lutheran Home.

Patricia was born on May 9, 1936 in Washington, Iowa, daughter of Howard and Lela (Dayton) Disney. She was united in marriage to Norman Wilson, Jr. on November 17, 1956. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1991.

Patricia enjoyed gardening and baking. She was the baker of family birthday cakes for generations and was known for her Christmas cookie and candy trays. In her younger years she found joy in ceramics, picnics and looking at the beautiful flowers at Vander Veer Botanical Center. Patricia also enjoyed girls weekends and trips with her sisters. Above all she loved taking care of her family and spending time with them. She will be deeply missed.

Those left to her memory include her children, Marty (Cathy) Wilson, Laura (Jerry) Carleton, Lisa Wooff, and Todd (Lorry) Wilson; grandchildren Jill, Emily, Jenny, Ian, Nigel, Annie, Michael and Thomas; great grandchildren Palmer, Sloane, Jack, Charlie, Harper, Nash and Nova; and sisters Janice Mohr and Thelma (Ron) Simpson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman, and siblings and their spouses Billie (Don) Delinger, Arthur (Jeanne) Disney and Ron (Connie) Disney.
