Patricia Mary Jasper, 87, of Davenport, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026, at the Davenport Lutheran Home with her beloved family at her side.
Born April 19, 1939, in Dubuque, Iowa, she was the daughter of Jerry and Helen (Mueller) Kinsella. Patricia graduated from Marycrest College with a Bachelor of Arts in Art. She beautifully balanced her life as an artist and a dedicated homemaker, filling her family's world with color, warmth, and love.
Patricia was an avid outdoorswoman and fitness enthusiast. She eagerly tackled the hills of Iowa on RAGBRAI, loved hiking through nature, and was a familiar, joyful fixture at the local YMCA.
She was united in marriage to Donald Jasper. The couple shared 65 beautiful years of marriage until Donald’s passing in 2025.
Her legacy lives on through her children, Doug (Doreen) Jasper, Michael (Jodette) Jasper, Scott (Kate) Jasper, and Ann (Todd) Golab; her beloved grandchildren, Paul, Patrick (Candela), Kalyn, and Christopher (Jessica); and her cherished great-grandson, Jacob.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport.
An additional visitation will take place the following morning, Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Davenport. A funeral mass will follow at 10:00 am. Burial will take place immediately after the service at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Following the burial, there will be a luncheon from 11:30 AM to 2:30 pm, at Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano, 5195 Utica Ridge Road, Davenport. Please attend and join the family in celebrating Patricia’s life.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in Patricia’s name to Hand In Hand, 3860 Middle Road, Bettendorf, IA 52722 (select the “Dedicate this gift” box to memorialize Patricia’s name). Patricia always enjoyed the annual Hand In Hand Chili Cook-Off.
