Patricia A. Fitzpatrick

 Patricia Ann Fitzpatrick, 91, of Maysville, died Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Davenport. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 10^th with visitation to follow from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. An additional visitation will be one hour prior to mass on Tuesday at church. Memorials may be made to the family.

Patricia was born July 11, 1931 in Davenport to Carl and Juanita (Metz) Ferris. She married James F. Fitzpatrick, Sr., September 4, 1954 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Davenport. He preceded her in death November 29, 2007.

Patricia was the city clerk for the City of Maysville for 40 years and was employed by Johnson and Wilson, West Office Equipment, Liberty Tax Service and others. She was a charter member of Our Lady of Victory and sang in the church choir.  Pat had a voice like an angel and sang for many funerals and weddings of family, friends, and church members. She loved spending time in her garden growing flowers and vegetables and feeding and watching “her” birds. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Iowa Hawkeyes fan.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Sidney Fitzpatrick, Maysville, Mary (Kurt) Hintermeister, Davenport, Kristin (Roger) Crawford, Blue Grass, James Fitzpatrick, Jr., Davenport, Jennifer (Alvin) Haines, Bettendorf; 14 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband James, she was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.
