Patricia L. Davis

Patricia L. “Pat” Davis, 87, of Davenport, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 7, 2022 at Zion Lutheran Church, Davenport.  Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to Scott County Humane Society. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Patricia was born on December 20, 1934 in Davenport, daughter of Charles “Charlie” and Mildred “Millie” (Day) Haigh.  She married Craig Green. She was united in marriage to Raymond Malone on June 19, 1965.  He preceded her in death in 1969.  Pat later married Franklin Davis.

Pat was a bookkeeper for various companies before beginning her career at the Rock Island Arsenal.  She retired from Federal Government Asset Management following over 31 years of service.  In her younger years she enjoyed playing basketball and bowling.  She loved her animals, especially her cats and dogs.  Pat was a very generous person, almost to a fault, and would give you her last dollar.  She was also found great joy in plants. 

Those left to honor her memory include her daughters Kathleen (Michael) Smith, Bettendorf and Vickie (Tony) Ray, Andalusia; grandchildren Jared Smith and Cody, Dalton and Dylan Ray; a sister Jean Byam (Rod); nephew Rob; and nieces Michelle and Jennifer.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ray, and a daughter Nancy Malone and son Ray Malone Jr.
