Patricia Arnould

Patricia T. Arnould, 92, of Davenport and Golden, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Pat will be held at 10:30 am Friday, March 16, 2018 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm Thursday, March 15 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. There will be an additional visitation one hour prior to the Mass.

Patricia Alene Taber was born Feb. 24, 1926 in Rock Island, the daughter of Dr. Albert W. and Rose Mansfield Taber. She married Edmund J. Arnould Jr. on Oct. 23, 1948 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rock Island. He preceded her in death Oct.15, 1999.

Pat graduated from the former Villa De Chantal in Rock Island, and graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She was a member of the Delta Gamma (IOTA) National Sorority.

Pat was a homemaker and raised three children. She was a 50 year member of St. Paul the Apostle Church and current member of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Pat volunteered her time through many charitable Quad City organizations, including St. Paul the Apostle Altar & Rosary Society. Pat enjoyed playing bridge, was an avid reader and a sports enthusiast. She especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Sara Arnould, Golden, CO, Mary (David) Arnould Wood, Davenport; a son, Michael (Mary) Arnould, Brownsburg, IN; and grandchildren Peter, Katherine, Michael and Thomas Wood, Michael and Robyn Arnould.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward A. Taber.
