Pat Norris

Pat Norris, 67, of Davenport, passed away, Saturday, November 22, 2025.

A Celebration of life will be held at Edward’s Congregational United Church of Christ, 3420 Jersey Ridge Rd., Davenport, IA 52807 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 7, 2025. The family requests that you wear casual attire to the celebration. 

Memorials may be made to the family.

Pat was born on February 13, 1958 in Georgia, the son of Frank and Nancy (Wiskirchen) Norris.

Pat worked as an amazing concrete finisher and taught his family the trade. He was always on the go and kept very active. If he took the time to have a talk with you it meant you held a special place in his heart. He was loyal and was a caregiver for his mom and his elderly neighbors. He helped them with snow removal, mowing the grass and any miscellaneous jobs that needed completed. Pat was a master tinkerer and could make anything. His passion was the outdoors and he found joy in hunting, fishing, searching for morels, and hiking with his dogs. He was a hunting guide and was known as Dogonit Hunting Guide. He adored his dogs Willow, Mojo and Tazer that are German Wire-Haired Pointers. Above all he loved his grandchildren and cherished the time he spent with them.

Those left to honor his memory include his son Christopher (Dawn) Norris; grandchildren Nick, James (Monee’), Kelsie and Katie Norris; great granddaughter Khloe; mother Nancy Norris; siblings Mike (Lisa) Norris, Jack Norris and Jill (Ron) Snider; nieces and nephews Travis (Stephanie) Norris, Brandon (Amanda) Norris, Michael (Darcee) Norris, Brae (Melissa) Williams, Cale (Justine) Williams, Laney Norris and Drew Norris; several special great nieces and great nephews; and his longtime best friend Lyle Swanson.

He was preceded in death by his father Frank.
