Pamela Ann Walloch, 69, Walcott, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Genesis East, Davenport surrounded by her family. Visitation: 5:00-7:30 p.m. with sharing of memories at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at Me & Billy. Memorial Mass: 11 a.m. on Friday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Davenport. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Pam was born November 20, 1953 to Elmer and Dorothy (Stepka) Walloch in Yankton, SD. She spent her early childhood on the family farm near Lesterville, SD before they moved to Davenport where she graduated from West High School.
After high school, she worked for Geifman’s and Heart of America Restaurants. For many years, she worked for Eagles Grocery Stores and later US Bank and the Riverboat Casino. Until her retirement, Pam worked at the I-80 Truckstop.
For many years, Pam was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, driving her mom to Mass almost every Sunday before taking her grocery shopping. She most recently attended Our Lady of Victory where she was active with the Ladies Council, helping with numerous funeral luncheons.
In her younger years, Pam played softball on various beer leagues. She enjoyed fishing and loved watching football, rooting for the Hawkeyes, Bears and any team playing against the Chiefs.
Pam’s favorite thing to do was spend time with family and friends. She loved playing games and was known for making themed trivia for every holiday get-together. She sent cards for all occasions and never missed a birthday. Pam was a cat lover and adored her beloved kitty, Sam.
She is survived by her siblings, Chuck (Shirlee) Walloch, Jerry (Judy) Walloch, Paulettte Day, and William (Bob Bohannon) Walloch; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Margaret “Peg” Walloch.
