Owen Jones Roberts

Owen Jones Roberts, age 91, of Bettendorf, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at the Davenport Lutheran Home. Private burial will take place in the National Cemetery, Rock Island. Halligan-McCabe-Devries is assisting the family with arrangements.

Owen was born on July 22, 1930 in Homewood, IL, to Owen and Alma (Seebohar) Roberts. Owen graduated with a BA from Illinois State University. He was a veteran having served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Owen owned and operated Roberts Appliance in the Quad Cities for over 20 years. He had a passion for riding and driving horses.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan Roberts, Bettendorf; granddaughter, Alexandra (Clayton) Graham of Cedar Rapids; and a great grandson, Watson Graham.

In addition to his parents, Owen was preceded in death by a son, and his siblings.
