Nicole Millette Moore

Funeral services celebrating the life of Nicole Millette Moore, 51, of Davenport, will be held at 12 pm on Friday, May 30th, 2025 at Progressive Baptist Church, Davenport. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport. Visitation will be from 11 am until time of services at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Unity Point Trinity Hospital in Bettendorf, IA. Arrangements entrusted to Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport.

Nicole was born September 4, 1973 in Gary, IN. She was born to Cleofee Harris and Milton Chisom. She was united in marriage to Derrick Moore February 12, 2010 in Davenport, IA.

Nicole was a strong and resilient woman! She fought an amazing fight in this life. She survived cancer, the loss of her son and a set of twins. Then in 2011 she was blessed with a beautiful baby girl that became her whole world! Delora Mae Moore, her reason for being. She once said that Delora was her lifeline. She fought as hard as she did for her “BooBoo”. Nicole loved hard, and she loved in spite of all! She was a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend and an all-around beautiful and amazing woman who will be loved and sorely missed! Her smile, her voice, her laughter, and her diva spirit brought light to all who entered her presence!

Those left to honor her memory include her husband Derrick; daughter Delora Moore; nephew-sons Jevon Whitfield, Davonte Whitfield; special nephew Lamine Coly; siblings Michael Whitfield, Melton Chisom, Nadiyah (AL) Coly, Millicent (Tarik) Driver, La Shanda Chisom, Milton (Deon Shante) Chisom, Quinn Mullins, Candice Chisom, special cousins Shanita(Corey) Lamonte, Melvia (Robert) Pride, and a host of loving extended family members nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Cleofee Chisom and Milton Chisom, son Deonte Chisom, May they rest in peace.
