Nickolas Durant Logsdon was born March 19, 1996, in Rock Island, the son of Eric and Venus (Hill) Logsdon. He worked for Wisconsin Terrazzo for many years.
Nick enjoyed staying active, whether working out or spending time outdoors fishing, frogging, and riding quads and dirt bikes. He played football in high school and continued playing in backyard leagues, where he made many friends. An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Nick loved watching his team play. Some of his favorite times were spent with his daughter, Sophie, riding their bikes together to the park.
Nick had a gift for cooking and could whip up just about anything. He loved preparing homemade meals for others and took pride in meal prepping. His kitchen was another place where his generous spirit shone through.
With a smile that could light up a room and a contagious laugh, Nick brought warmth to those around him. He had a gentle, kind heart and was wise beyond his years. A man of few words, he was also someone you could sit and talk with for hours. Through his kindness, friendship, and quiet presence, Nick touched the lives of many. Nick had been baptized at The Sanctuary Quad Cities on February 5th 2023, marking a meaningful moment in his faith journey.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Sophie; his parents, Venus and Eric Logsdon; siblings, Ashley Logsdon, Justin (Amanda) Logsdon, and Breannon (Garth) Letts; nieces and nephews, Lauryn, Peyton, Avria, MaKennah, Stori, Everett, Garth, Clara, and Brynlee; grandparents, Patricia and Harold Hill; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
