Michael Eisenbacher

Michael Eisenbacher, 66, of Davenport, passed away, Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Unity Point, Trinity Bettendorf.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at the funeral home with additional visitation being held from 2:00 pm until the time of service on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the family.

Michael was born on November 15, 1959 in Davenport, son of Roger and Margaret (Roush) Eisenbacher. He was united in marriage to Debra Locke on May 14, 1988.

Michael worked for the City of Davenport for over 20 years. He was a very hard worker and was very generous. He was always willing to help someone and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. During his childhood he made many trips to Minnesota. He enjoyed woodworking, metalworking and was a jack of all trades. Michael collected toy tractors, hats and found joy in mowing, fishing, vacationing and having a cold beer. After he married Debra they traveled to 48 states! He also enjoyed talking about his grandfather, Wesley Rouch and helping with the garden, bees and a cup of coffee. Above all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren and cherished the time he spent with them. In his eyes, family was most important and he gave them his full support. He will be deeply missed.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife Debra; children Melissa (Rex) Grebner and Ashly (Steven) Hoeck; grandchildren Rylie Hoeck, Grayson Hoeck and Sophie Grebner; mother Margaret Eisenbacher; and siblings David (Lynn) Eisenbacher, Kathy (Jeff) Crain, Sally Eisenbacher, John (Lois) Eisenbacher and Eric (Kim) Eisenbacher.

He was preceded in death by his father.
