Mrs. Blevins passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at MercyOne Genesis, Davenport.

Mary Frances Theresa Van Camp was born September 12, 1941, in Davenport to Francis E. J. and Angela C. (Huot) Van Camp. She attended Immaculate Conception Academy and was in the first graduating class of Assumption High School in 1959. While attending school she met her future husband, Cornelius Blevins, and they were united in marriage on May 19, 1973, in Chicago. They shared a deep and inseparable bond and were never far apart.

Prior to her retirement she had been a nuclear medical technician at the former Lutheran Hospital and Trinity East Hospital.

Mary Frances was devoted to her family and cherished the time spent with them, especially her grandchildren. She and Cornelius would pick them up daily from school. They rarely missed a sporting event or recital and Mary Frances often could be found attending one and following another on her phone. She also loved dogs, especially Mac, Kobe and Dexter, and tending to her plants.

Survivors include her husband and best friend Cornelius; children Johanna Blevins of Bettendorf, Jacob (Jennifer) Blevins of Greenville, WI; and grandchildren Jonah, Joel and Julianna Smith, Kathrine and Nicholas Blevins.

She was preceded in death by her father Francis, mother and stepfather Angela and Nicholas Feil, and sister Angela “Kay” Van Camp.
