Mary C. Bricker

Mary C. Bricker, 63, of Davenport, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, at her home. Per her request cremation has been accorded. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, assisted the family.

Mary Clara Bricker was born May 7, 1962, in Aurora, IL, to Marilyn Bird.

Mary had worked in the warehouse industry for many years.

She enjoyed spending her time working on puzzles and playing online games. In the kitchen, she found great pleasure in baking, often sharing her homemade treats with those she loved. She also enjoyed playing pool and cheering on her favorite team, the Green Bay Packers.

Above all, Mary cherished the time she spent with her family. Her grandchildren were especially dear to her, and she took great joy in watching them grow and in sharing in their lives and accomplishments. These moments with family were among the most meaningful of her life.

She also shared a special companionship with her beloved cat, Buddha.

Survivors include her daughters Marlee (Reginald) Porter and Brenda Davis of Davenport and son Jeff Bricker of Davenport; local grandchildren include Leighla, Deshauwn, Justin, Leighyana, Jaci, Arhji, and Bella of Davenport as well as many other grandchildren and great grandchildren; mother Marilyn McCullough; and brothers Bill Bricker, Mike Bricker, Paul McCullough III, and Chuck McCullough.

She was preceded in death by her son Terry Childers in 2017.

The photo of Mary is one of her favorites of herself and always reminded her of when she was young.
