Marlene Bradley

Marlene Bradley, 87, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at West Ridge Specialty Care, Knoxville, IA. Per her request cremation will be accorded. 

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at noon on Friday, January 10, 2025, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Inurnment will follow in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11 am until time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the QC Bicycle Club, St. Croix Hospice or St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. 

Marlene Myklebust was born March 21, 1937, in Clinton, IA, the second child of Nels and Vivian (Zimmer) Myklebust, their firstborn infant son died at birth. She was united in marriage to Melvin Bradley on July 15, 1954, and he preceded her in death on August 19, 2017. 

Marlene was devoted to her family and her family’s passions, especially speed skating and bicycling. She also enjoyed quilting, crafting, and gardening. 

Those left to honor her memory include her children Deb (Rod) Kuehl of Eldridge, Linda (John Malner) of Gladstone, MI, Jeff (Deb Wood) Bradley of Davenport, and Jacque (Tim) Myers of Monroe, IA; 9 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. 

Additionally, she was preceded in death by an infant brother and her parents.
