Mark Ellison

Funeral Services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Mark J. Ellison, 56, a resident of Davenport, will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Visitation will be Friday at church prior to mass from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Honoring his wishes the rite of cremation will take place after services. Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home assisted his family with arrangements. Mark died Sunday January 7, 2018 after a brief illness at Genesis Medical Center – East Campus.

Mark Joseph Ellison was born July 15, 1961 in Davenport, the son of James and Alice (Yoke) Ellison. He was a 1979 graduate of Davenport Central. He had been married to Kathy Miller. Mark had a passion for and was an avid billiards player, making many great friends over the years.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to his family.

Survivors include his children, Joseph and Ashton Ellison both of Davenport; a stepdaughter, Chantel Miller, Portland, OR; his grandchildren; LillyAnn Bair and Raelyn Ramirez Miller; his mother, Alice Ellison, Davenport; his siblings, Deborah Mannhardt, Buffalo, Lynnette (Christopher) Rubley, Blue Grass, Elizabeth (Daniel) Haney, Davenport, and Michael Ellison, Hudson, IA; his special friend, Denise Jensen, Davenport; and numerous loving extended family and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
