Mark Donovan

Mark Donovan, 63, of Ft. Myers, FL, formerly of Davenport, passed away, Friday, September 25, 2026 at Gulf Coast Medical Center, Ft. Myers, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 9:30 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation (www.pfc.org).

Mark was born on August 20, 1963 in Davenport, son of Donald and MaryAnne (Keenan) Donovan. He was united in marriage to Nancy Gleisner on October 16, 1993.

Mark grew up in Davenport and graduated from Assumption High School. He loved sports and enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs. He was a friend to all. In later years, with is wife, he traveled the United States. Above all he loved his family, especially his wife, and cherished the time spent with them. He will be deeply missed.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife Nancy; children Shelley (Larry) Neuhlfen and Sherri Gilson; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; siblings Kelly (Tony) DePardo and Deanna (Garth) Glenn; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Donald Donovan, Jr.
