Linda K. Williams

Memorial services celebrating the life of Linda K. Williams, 76, of Davenport, will be held at 6pm on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport.  Private inurnment will be at a later date in Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport.  The family will receive friends from 4pm until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Mrs. Williams passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Genesis East, Davenport.

Linda Kay Gaskey was born November 25, 1947, in Davenport, a daughter of Thomas William Gaskey Sr and Bernice Irene May (Downing) Rohrback.  She was united in marriage to Ronald Williams on November 14, 1998, in Davenport.

Prior to her retirement she had worked for Oscar Mayer in Davenport.

Linda enjoyed gardening, flowers, and Betty Boop collectibles.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Ron; sons Alvin (Melissa) Sersig III of Moore Haven, FL, Rodney (Kathy Monteith) McReynolds Sr of Davenport, Scott (Stephanie) Angstrom of Davenport; stepchildren Ronda (Gary Morrison of Blue Grass, Ed (Joy) Williams of Davenport, Lynette (Lonnie) Robertson of Blue Grass; brother James Gaskey Sr of Davenport; and numerous loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, brother Tom Gaskey Jr, and sisters Sharon Mitchell and Mary Schroeder.
