Linda Sue Sindt, 75, of Blue Grass, passed away, May 7, 2026 at MercyOne Medical Center, Davenport.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home. Cremation will take place after the services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.

Linda was born on January 3, 1959 in St. Joseph, Missouri daughter of Plaz and Maye (Hall) Coffman. She was united in marriage to Albert Sindt on April 19, 1970. They shared over 56 years together. She had four children, Vernoica Maye Sindt, Robert Lee McClure, Jeanne Sindt and Albert Plaz Jaycup “Jake” Sindt. Even though she only had four biological children she was a mother to many.

Linda was a CNA at Good Samaritan Nursing Home for many years. She ran many charity events for children. She started and hosted kinds fishing tournaments and events. Linda also took groups of children to the Mississippi Valley Fair. She spent countless years of her life helping the less fortunate. She always had room for anyone and would welcome them with a warm plate of food. She refused to deny anyone basic care and love. She also enjoyed music and dancing. In her free time she would watch crime shows and send music videos to her close friends and family so they could enjoy her love of music. Linda especially loved road trips with her niece Tammy Johnston to Missouri and talking with Wanda Coffman. She was also a huge supporter of the military. She will be deeply missed.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband Albert Sindt; children Robert (Barb) McClure, Jeanne (Tim) Sindt and Albert “Jake” Sindt; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; brother Carl Coffman; and countless nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Florence Coffman, Ronnie Coffman, Maxine Thornburg, Reatta Sindt, Howard Coffman, Wilma (last name), and daughter Veronica Sindt.
