Graveside services for Leroy H. Wilkins, 90, of Davenport, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Leroy died Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Davenport.
Leroy Harvey Wilkins was born on July 6, 1929 in Harvey, Illinois, a son of Lou Ellen Thumm and Leroy J. Wilkins. He was raised by his foster parents Louis and Clara Karns.
Leroy worked for many years in the sanitation department for the City of Davenport.
He loved woodworking, bingo, and fishing, and was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs.
Leroy is survived by his dear friend, Sally Posten and her family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and foster parents.
