Kirk J. Ripperton, 65, of Davenport, died September 2, 2025 in Davenport

Private family services will be held at a later date with burial in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Kirk Joseph Ripperton was born on May 6, 1960 in Davenport, a son of Joan L. (Kerker) and Clayton J. Ripperton. He was united in marriage to Patricia E. “Patti” Nahra on July 16, 1983 in Davenport. She preceded him in death on May 10, 2020.

Kirk had worked for Threaded Products.

He enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Cubs, and Iowa Hawkeyes.

Survivors include his siblings: Cheryl (Kirby) Graff, Bettendorf, Mary (Kevin) Cox, and Scott (Michelle) Ripperton, all of Davenport; several nieces and nephews, and his brother from another mother, Joe Burkhart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his mother-in-law, Jan Nahra, and a niece, JoLee Cox. May they rest in peace.
