Kevin Dale Miller was born on June 28, 1958 in DeWitt, Iowa to Robert and Helen (Curtis) Miller.
He graduated from North Scott High School in 1976. On February 27, 1988 he was united in
marriage to Jill T. Roegiers at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Wheatland. Kevin was born to be a farmer;
farming was his passion. He built RH&K Enterprises with his parents immediately after high school. He primarily raised corn and
soybeans, but also had pigs and cattle in the past. He relished the time he spent with his children restoring tractors and showing
them at the fair and at other shows. Kevin enjoyed serving on the Dixon Volunteer Fire Department
and on the board of the Scott County Farm Bureau. He was an avid LA Rams, Chicago Cubs, and
Iowa Hawkeye fan. Most of all he enjoyed being with his family, grandchildren, and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Jill; their children, Patrick (Katie) Miller, Meghan
(Alex) Smith, and Jake (Rachel Knipper) Miller; grandchildren, Hunter, Owen and Zoey Miller and
Alayna Smith; sisters, Betty (Jim) Engel, and Beverly Watts; brother and sister-in-laws, Jean (Larry)
Fobian, Jim (Julia) Roegiers, Joni Bryant, and Tom McGannon.
In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by his in-laws; a brother-in-law, Larry
Watts; and a sister-in-law, Jane McGannon.
