Kerry Michael King - Quinlan

Kerry Michael King-Quinlan, 44, of Davenport, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023, at his home.  The family will receive friends from 10am – Noon on Monday, March 20, 2023, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport.  The rite of cremation has been accorded and inurnment will be at a later date in Davenport Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Kerry was born October 30, 1978, in Iowa City, the son of Robert Alan King and Patricia Jo Quinlan.

He worked as concrete finisher for Kelly Concrete and previously at Freiburger Concrete and Topsoil.

He was a hard worker and liked to spend his time off kayaking, listening to music, and working on his Jeep.

Those left to honor his memory include his mother Pat Quinlan of Davenport; father Robert King of Brunswick, GA; brothers Jason King, Jesse (Alyssa) Valdez-Quinlan of Bettendorf; niece Genevieve, nephews Noah, Carter and Asa; uncles Dennis Quinlan and James (Brenda) Quinlan; and cousins Tracy (Tom) Quinlan-Jasper and Brian Quinlan.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Frank and Evelyn Quinlan.
