Kelsey Barksdale

Kelsey Barksdale, 27, of Davenport, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2026 as a result of a motorcycle accident.

A Celebration of Life will be held October 24, 2026. A time and place will be announced soon. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be set up for her children.

Kelsey was born on May 30, 1999 in Davenport, Iowa, daughter of Joseph Sullivan and Tiffany Barksdale.

Kelsey was employed at Harmony-Locust Street as a CNA. She loved her job and was working toward her nursing degree. She had a beautiful heart and a one of a kind soul. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Above all she loved being a mom and cherished her children.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughters; Zariah and Zyleigh; father Joe and (Christa) Sullivan; siblings Davyn Barksdale, Lainee Klemme, Erica Whitehead, Kyaira Kimball, Ashley Whitehead, Dakota Klemme, Kamryn Kimball and Kaleb Barrell; grandfathers Marc Sullivan and Billy Barksdale; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother Tiffany Klemme and her grandmother Lori Sullivan.
